I participated in a gallery show in Savannah with the bead society there in December of 2016. We had a big gallery to fill, with a lot of wall space - and as the lone member of the group who went to Photography School, I took on the job of helping fill that wall space to make the show feel like a jewelry store more than a gallery. I shot 30-40 different pieces of some of our most striking jewelry, from myself and various members - and this was the end result, these fabulous black and white shots with the jewelry and the model’s eyes in color.
Many thanks to my dear friend and model, Erica Bogdonowitz, for modelling this show for us. We spent hours sitting on hardword floors through 4 different photo shoots to complete all the pictures, and the end result was simply stunning!
