The sisters-in-law design team of Amy Haftowycz and Barbara Falkowitz had a lovely necklace published in the same issue of Beadwork as my Pea-Cockery necklace was. Their pattern inspired me to to make a bracelet - so I tweaked the pattern a bit to make it fit my wrist, and added some extra rounds of embellishment to both the edging & the tops of the stone beads in the center. This made the gently curving pattern lie straight and flat on the wrist - and let me play with O beads and mini duos (so cute!). Beadwork then published my version in the What Our Readers Did section, alongside a version of Pharoah’s Finery someone else beaded, which was kind of cool to see side by side!
