Pea-Cockery - modelled by Erica B

It’s one thing to see a statement piece sitting flat on a surface for pictures - but another entirely to see it actually on and being worn as it was meant to be. Pea-Cockery (Beadwork, March 2015) is a bold statement of color, size - even beading technique. I intentionally made it as "lumpy bumpy" as I could - because super-textural bead embroidery is kinda my “thang”. I love texture in my embroidery, and routinely use larger beads that most others won’t consider doing embroidery with. You have to use Fireline and go through things a couple times, but the look is sooo worth it!
