When I travel somewhere new, I usually hit whatever bead store or cool antique store I can find close by to wherever I am staying. Most folks will hit a Tshirt shop - but me, no, I gotta hit some stuff off the beaten path a little because I really like having a memento from my trip that no one else has.
In 2015, we went to Disney in Orlando, and Sarasota for some spring training baseball. I found this cool antique store there near Orlando, and they had some beads, old keys, old watches, old buttons, and old costume jewelry in their stash of goodies. I found some neat odds & ends, and the next day was wearing this bracelet - just for fun!
Vintage Redux assembly is so great - I love that whatever you create from it is a completely unique piece of jewelry that no one else has, something that speaks to your own individuality :)
